Foxy Cleopatra #1 Posted December 25, 2003 What the hell is up with all the walkthroughs on this game? they all say exactly the same thing and they are wrong! Ok I beat this game about 2 years ago and decided to play it again after some reminiscing in another thread, and I'm in Janupar and I've completed the Telescan mission, reappeared in the Awakened base, talked to Jenna about the mission and excess guards and now I am supposed to go talk to Namtar, but every time I approach him it says I have nothing new to tell him. I remember being stuck here the last time I played, but I can't remember how to proceed!!! I know not a lot of people have played this but if anyone has and knows what the hell I am missing please help!!
moycon #2 Posted December 26, 2003 Doh, You playing the dreamcast version?? I remember playing that game a few years back and was BLOWN away by it, I thought it was awesome as hell, I'm not exactly sure where you are in the game it's been SOOOOO long since I've played it. I don't think I got that far...Reading an online walk through it looks like I quit right before that part, or got stuck myself. Meet the Awakened Continue through the temple toward the floating altar. You will see a man standing near two pyramid-shaped candles on the right. This is Yob, the man Jenna told you to meet. Talk to him and he leads you through a red door behind him. Pass through a second door and enter a statue room. Yob, however, is nowhere to be found. Pick up the two candles on the base of one of the statues. Note the metal door peeking out from behind one of the statues. Turn around and look on the wall for the Awakened symbol with a red hole in the center. Press Action to climb atop the sarcophagus and Use Telis's Talisman on the red hole. The statue rolls aside, exposing the metal door to a lift. Jump into the lift and ride it to the underground base of the Awakened. Enter one door, cross a bridge over the base's main room, and go through another door. Follow a winding passage until you come to a pair of white doors. The one in front of you is Jenna's cell. To the right is the main floor of the base. Turn right and go there. You will meet again with Jenna, who is a rather high-ranking member of the Awakened. Ever since your interrogation of her, she has known what you are and she thinks you have potential. As a gift for declaring her innocent, she gives you a Regeneration Potion. Follow Jenna to Dakobah's cell. She instructs you to come see her in her room when your meeting is over. Inside, you meet with one of the Awakened's leaders, a Yashu priest named Dakobah. From this conversation you learn some very beneficial information. Go to Jenna's cell to report on your meeting and your admission to the Awakened. She gives you a bit of history to put your initiation in perspective. Enter Namtar's cell to meet your immediate commander. He gives you a mission: blow up the bridge in Zone 12 to cut off Tetra's weapon supply line to the Omikron Police. Jenna will be your partner. I'm sure you've read that a dozen times though, it's all over the net... Here's some more links to Omikron help.. http://www.uhs-hints.com/uhsweb/omikron.php Here's one with the same info in the walk through at the bottom...But pretty pictures! WOOO: http://crystaltjapan.tripod.com/multiomikron.html Here's one that differs from the usual: http://www.dccheater.com/cheats/for/Omikro...0000010350/n/1/ Also this one: you enter the room he went into pick up the 2 candels(I haven't figured what these are for yet). Then climb between the 2 statues and stand in front of the red square(hole in picture). Use Telis' Talisman(The Sign og The Awakened). This will open a secret passage to an elevator which leads to a secret base of the Awakened. Get out the elevator and keep exploring til you find Jenna 712. Listen to her and follow her after that. She will take you to her leader Dakobah. After you talk to him continue to explore the base and learn your way around talking to everyone you can. Then find Jenna's room and talk to her again. Next find Namtar to give you a mission if you haven't found him yet. Then find Krill to ask him what type of explosives you need You said you talked to Jenna, but did you talk to her, then talk to everyone you could find..and then talk to her again??? I keep meaning to go back and re-start that gane someday.
Foxy Cleopatra #3 Posted December 26, 2003 Thank you for being the only person to respond to my thread, moycon. Unfortunately I've looked at all those walkthroughs and hints already and I still can't progress through the game. I have to talk to Namtar and every time I go up to him it says "I have nothing new to say to Namtar" but I do!!!! This sucks. I know I did everything right because I've played it up to there twice in the last week and it does the same thing. Why don't you come over and help me? Foxy Cleopatra #4 Posted January 3, 2004 No need to worryI finally got past it. Those walkthroughs are wrong, you need to talk to Dakobah first before you talk to Namtar, but for some reason he's not where he's supposed to be. Just glad I can continue... thanks for your help Moycon, where ever you are
Clint Thompson #5 Posted January 7, 2004 Dreamcast version? (as in question or in doubt?) What else is Omikron on? I bought this game new for $4.99 and it's been one of the best purchases I've ever made game wise! It's awesome... although I will admit I haven't played it in over a year (hmm... me needs to get it out again) I never really got very far anyways... It's awesome... although I will admit I haven't played it in over a year (hmm... me needs to get it out again) I never really got very far anyways... Omikron is also a PC game, and I should finish it up for the second time this weekend.... I've enjoyed it much more the second time through (forgeting the above frustration) because I didn't realize several things 1) you can play as a Mechguard in one section 2) you can hijack lots of bodies and get into their apartments ( I blew a good 3-4 hours just ransacking apartments) 3) there are I think 3 secret Dreamers concerts 4) you can find or buy a ton of David Bowie songs This game has so much to do I love it, too bad the graphics pretty much suck ass.
