AlanD #5 Posted January 3, 2004 I have a few rare ones: Bounty Bob Austin 80 Console Terminal for ATR 8000 Super Pill Powerstar both 400 & 800 Microprinter system carts Easy Scan 2 MPP Supercharger AlanD
Callipygous #7 Posted January 3, 2004 The utility carts like those mentioned by AlanD are the rarest carts. However, in my experience, the rare games like Flip Flop, Star Maze and Mr TNT, Espial, Matterhorn etc go for higher prices and the bidding is more competitive. My rarest? Maybe Drumesiser (utility) and Mr Do!'s Castle (game).
robcatron #8 Posted January 3, 2004 Easier to list the rarest carts that I DON'T own ;o) - I don't really count non games (except for SpartaDos X which I love): Attack of the Mutant Camels - HES Flapper -Romox (Have never seen) Spark Bugs -Romox (Have never seen) Typo -Romox (Have never seen) Capture the Flag -Sirius (Have never seen) Espial- Tigervision (owned at one time and sold ;o( Matterhorn- Tigervision (owned at one time and sold ;o( Star Maze (Hey anyone have any of these - let me know ;o) Some of the rarest ones that come to mind that I DO own and have never really seen on eBay) are: Mr. TNT (HES) Fort Apocalypse (Synapse) Castle Hassle (Roklan) Topper (Romox) Whiz Kid (Romox) Sea Chase (Romox) Starion (Romox)

robcatron #11 Posted January 3, 2004 Great Game - the best conversion that I think was ever done! It was listed in the Topic (that type is about as small as the fine print on my mortgage paperwork ;o) I was just replying to the topic originator about Gyruss
Tempest #12 Posted January 3, 2004 I guess it would be the Expando-Vision carts. Not that they're really a game or anything. Besides those I guess itg would be my prototypes for Super Pac, Crystal Castles, and TLSF. Tempest
bjk7382 #13 Posted January 3, 2004 I think my rarest 8bit carts are James Bond 007 Spy Hunter Nothing rare at all, this thread sucks for me.
Callipygous #14 Posted January 3, 2004 Rob, Ones you'll get eventually ------------------------------- Attack of the Mutant Camels - HES (a tough one, though) Typo -Romox (these usually show up a couple times a year) Star Maze - Roklan (hmm 2 or 3 of these auctioned this year) Others ------- Spark Bugs -Romox Arrgh! Had to buy a big lot in order to get one with a damaged label. Flapper -Romox I reclassified this as ECPC, since no one has ever seen the label. Capture the Flag -Sirius (Have never seen) No one has seen it, so its off my list. NR Espial- Tigervision (owned at one time and sold ;o( Matterhorn- Tigervision (owned at one time and sold ;o( Yeah, yeah we know the whole story

robcatron #19 Posted January 3, 2004 Ones you'll get eventually ------------------------------- Attack of the Mutant Camels - HES (a tough one, though) -- I have seen this one one time since my eBay days -- I went in together with someone on a super huge cartridge sale about a year ago (I think it went for about $500.00, and this is one of the ones I didn't get to keep ;o) Typo -Romox (these usually show up a couple times a year) Star Maze - Roklan (hmm 2 or 3 of these auctioned this year) -- I've seen this one several times this year, but I just hate plucking down the bucks for such a horrid educational title. I have it for the TI-99 and it isn't too motivating to pay big dollars for! Others ------- Spark Bugs -Romox Arrgh! Had to buy a big lot in order to get one with a damaged label. Flapper -Romox I reclassified this as ECPC, since no one has ever seen the label. Capture the Flag -Sirius (Have never seen) No one has seen it, so its off my list. deathtrappomegranate #22 Posted January 3, 2004 My copies of Basic XL look very different from that one. Mine are orange plastic carts with yellow labels and black text and graphics.
Gregory DG #23 Posted January 3, 2004 Wow, sounds like a lot of Bounty Bobs out there. Maybe it's not so rare afterall? Anyway, I got mine for free in a box of 30 other games when a co-worker/friend of mine gave me his old Atari 400. Woohoo! Free Bounty Bob Strikes Back! emkay #24 Posted January 3, 2004 Wow, sounds like a lot of Bounty Bobs out there. Maybe it's not so rare afterall? Anyway, I got mine for free in a box of 30 other games when a co-worker/friend of mine gave me his old Atari 400. Woohoo! Free Bounty Bob Strikes Back! I am still wondering that "Bounty Bob" is declared as a rare module... I still own 5 cartridges .... Donkey Kong, Journey to the Planets, E.T. , ATARI Artist and "Bounty Bob" Miner 2049er (originally manufactured in 1983) Is there a difference?
deathtrappomegranate #25 Posted January 3, 2004 "Miner 2049er (starring Bounty Bob)" is not rare..."Bounty Bob Strikes Back" is harder to get.
