its an ok game, i cant get into it though, nor can i get into GT3 on the PS2. but you cant really complain at the price of the game, it can be found for under ten bucks as a combo disk with Jet Set Radio Future

I might be the only person who loves driving games and hated the Gran Turismo series. Sega GT 2002 is a much better game, IMO. The fact that it has JSRF on the same disc makes it a must have if you have an XBox.

I'll tell you this, SEGA GT has better car selection than Gran Turismo 3!!

I hate DAMAGE feature on SEGA GT though!

At Gamestop the combo disc of Sega GT and JSRF is something like $4 used...go get it now!!! Or when Gamestop opens if you want to get it legally :)

Wow cool, PLUS I have the 10% off card on all used XBOX games!!

$4.00 - 10% = 3.60 (Yeah, the savings just keep stacking up!)

Can you imagine I was gonna go to EBGames (9.99!!) :P

I love both Gran Turismo and Sega GT. I have no preference they are both very similar and very excellent. I found Sega GT took a lot longer to get going, you seem stuck with rubbish cars for ever, but once you get a good car (Lotus Elise - should be one of the first cars you buy) then the game really opens up.

But if you can afford it then I would say get Project Gotham Racing 2 as this is the best racing game on the planet. I don't really like racing games normally, but these 3 games have somehow found a space in my heart, I don't know why they just feel special.

@Scooterb23

I called my local Gamestop and they had it as a combo with JSRF, for 3.99 I'll go get it either tomorrow or Monday.

Cool...don't forget to play JSRF...pretty fun in its own right.

Also, Sega GT 2002 supports your own music soundtrack :)

I love playing this game to the first Static-X cd :)

Am I the only one who thinks that Sega GT on the Dreamcast was better than Sega GT 2002 on the Xbox?

Better in what way? :?

Fun-Factor? Car Line Up? Graphically?? :ponder:

I bought it cheaply and could never get into it. The sim mode is too tedious for my tastes and the racing itself is pretty dull too...the sense of speed just isn't there. And don't even get me started about the license tests....ugh! :x

I thought the graphics were just as good on the Dreamcast Sega GT. I liked the interface on the Dreamcast better. Dreamcast Sega GT had some online features, Xbox GT 2002 had none. Sega GT on the Dreamcast had a more modern car line-up. Dreamcast Sega GT had more tracks and the tracks were also more fun to race on. The VMU mini-game on Sega GT was a cool and inovative way to earn money while away from your Dreamcast. Sega GT on the Dreamcast just had way more features and was a much more polished game.

Sega gt 2002 is a solid racer, i've played for days and love the handling. Gran Tourismo is pretty cool but the 3rd had too many repeat tracks from the previous 2, cool none the less.

and dont forget that you could build youre own cars which isnt possible in sega gt 2002. Hopefullt sega gt online has this option )i heard it has more cars, tracks and it doesnt require to go online

Well I finally bought it! :D But i'll tell you this!! :ponder:

The Double Pack (SegaGT2002/JSRF) - $3.99

SegaGT2002 (Single) - $7.99

JSRF (Single) - $12.99

I asked the lady what was the difference between the Double Pack and Single SegaGT2002!! :? (becuse one is $3.99 and the other $7.99 :P)

The answer I got was simple!! since SEGAGT2002/JSRF came with thw XBOX they have an overload of that game so the singles are priced higher for them to clear out the doubles by placing them $3.99!!
