Here is the contents to an e-mail I just got:

During our regular update and of all accounts , we could not verify your current stored information.

 

Your stored information is not correct or incomplete.

Please update your information by signing in your account :

If your eBay information is not updated within 7 days , then your access to sell or bid will be restricted.

It's old, I get that once a month to an email address that doesn't even exist with eBay.

I don't get very many of them, but they always show up in the bulk mail box anyway, so they just get deleted. I don't think it is anything new.

I get mails like this all the time. Even more common are emails claiming my PayPal account is about to expire. While most people know better to ignore these emails, I'm sure there are some people who are taken in by these scams and lose a considerable amount of money (especially with PayPal).
