Fantastic Voyage: Too Easy?

I mean really? I picked this up this weekend and found it to be a very good and interesting game, but incredibly easy. I scored over 200K my FIRST game. It finally did get hard enough to be challenging, but it was very easy the first 150K. I think this is a very good game, but it needs to be more difficult.

 

I checked the game variations and they don't seem to offer anything more challenging than the later levels in the first variation.

The first few rounds are maybe a bit easy, but this game rapidly gets harder, it definately is not a game you can marathon

 

200k on your first try is very impressive, but can you make it to 300k? much more difficult

 

btw there is a hard(er) setting games 3 and 4(extended) but it's pretty much like starting a few rounds into the normal game

 

I have always liked this game, graphically it may not be anything special, but the gameplay is very smooth for a game of it's time
