The-Dig relaunched

For those who don't know, I've relaunched Garon Grainger's old site The-Dig on my virtual host.

 

I think I'll eventually get a domain name registered for this so the URL will change to something nicer, but for now it's this:

This site has some advantages over Garon's old site. Most notable is the ability to browse and search the Stellalist archive directly. Also, when you click on attachments it will open an open/save dialogue prompt with the correct filename (unlike biglist's archive). Right now I don't host all the attachments locally but rather copy them down once when requested.

 

The search filters include the ability to isolate posts by individuals. I've gone through and positively identified most active posters through the archive and grouped all their emails together. So for someone like me, even though I've posted under many different email addresses if you try to look for posts by "Glenn Saunders" then it will find them all regardless of which email I was using at the time.

 

I intend to add a threaded viewer also.

So for someone like me, even though I've posted under many different email addresses if you try to look for posts by "Glenn Saunders" then it will find them all regardless of which email I was using at the time.

 

Uhm... could you also merge the results regardless of which name one was having at the time? :wink:

 

And could you possibly add filters for month and year? Like in "Show me all messages with binary attachement from March 2000"?

And could you please find better colors? Red on Blue is really not nice to read (big thanks to Opera's user mode! ).

 

And maybe the number of posts/page could be increased a little bit?
