DSp board?

Recommended Posts

I seem to recall that some or all of SoundPool's Falcon DSP audio products were tweaked to be compatible, after all, the DSP daughter board for the StarTrack is a 56002 (same family as the Falcon's) but for most stuff like games and demos which tend to be coded very specifically for the Falcon's DSP, no. You'd pick up a used Falcon for the price of a StarTrack/DSP combo, which was designed primarily as a very high quality audio card for studio use, its specifications far exceed those of the stock Falcon audio system.

On StarTrack page is writen that XBIOS driver exists so I think that software which use XBIOS calls should work.

so what kinda software (if any) supported it?

It comes with its own digital recording/mastering software. Check the SWE web site for more details.

But in case you have gfx card installed you have VME slot occupied. I am sure you cannot put two VME devices to standard TT case :-(

I would like to know how to fork VME bus for two or more slots.
