I want Micro-Machines for the Cube.

Yeah, it's a terrific game. I like how all earlier versions of it (including GC? Not sure) let people double up on controllers with a simplified control scheme.

 

Though I've previously used it as a case-study in how an attempt to make an interesting "ensemble cast" can fail...you just choose the "driver" that looks amusing, but you don't empathize at all...

I was just reading about the N64 version a minute ago at VideoGameCritic. I love the Genesis version and the NES version. I'd like to get hte N64 one, but wouldn't mind seeing a GCN version.

there is a new ps2 version, but it was fairly crappy. the NES and Genesis versions were great though

Yeah! SNES too--though the NES version stacks up surprisingly well against it.

 

Those little cars were very cute, plus it just had this nice simple racing scheme...and who didn't love the tanks...

There's a GBA version out there somewhere, but I haven't seen it released (maybe it was Europe only?).

The Megadrive version of Micro Machines 2 Turbo Tournament is my all-time favourite game accross all platforms . Can anybody beat these scores from that version?

I love the tracks... racing across a schooldesk...racing across a breakfast table... racing across textbooks... it's just like school! One flaw I've noticed with the N64 version is the camera, because it will suddenly move 90 degrees and mess up your steering. As usual. I wish companies would design better cameras.

Have you still got your PS2? Because I have played the new Xbox version which I think is the same and it played as well as ever (even better maybe). Maybe you could rent it and see.

 

I used to love this game on the PSX and used to play it with loads of mates (using multitap). One of my all time favourite party games.
