Which classic arcade games had a 65xx CPU?

Recommended Posts

AFAIK there were lots of arcade games using Z80 CPUs or others.

But 65xx based code should be easily portable to the ATARI 800/5200 or the 7800.

Is there a list of 65xx-based games, are there any good ones that were not ported to ATARI systems ?

Or are there any collections of source-codes or arcade games somewhere ?

I took care of Warlords. :)

The source to these videogames isn't available, though. You'd have to go at it from scratch.

Almost all early Atari titles were 6502 based. Here's an interesting link:

Although the organization is confusing. Many 6502 games (like Centipede) are not listed under the 6502 links.

According to MAME there are 239 games which use the 6502 as thier primary CPU. This includes most of the Atari raster and vector machines up until the early 80's, Exidy games like Venture, Mousetrap, Targ, Specter, Pepper II and Rock-ola games like Nibbler, Fantasy, Pioneer Balloon.
