Remember SkyRoads?

This game was an all time fav of mine back in the early 90's!! I wouldnt let my dad work on his PC I would be playing all the time!! It was overly addictive, up untill 2 years ago I found the disk, that read SkyRoads DEMO Copyright 1993 BlueMoon Software. And I took it to my computer class (Junior Year of HS) and we started a SkyRoads frenzy!! Now I have the FULL version off the Net along with the XMAS Version!!

 

Anyone else remember this game??

I was a minor God at this game way back when...gotta see if I still have it...

 

There was a C64 game in a similar vein I always loved...can't remember the name wight now...either Challenger or Eliminator...something like that. I remember I got it at a B. Dalton for 88 cents back in about 1988...and I remember it was made by a company called Hewson.

Incidentally, there is an open source remake of this game called SkyStreets. I haven't tried it myself, but there's a link to a Windows version on their page.

Kinda clever...I can see the appeal but maybe it helps to have grown up with it.

Not so hot on Sky Streets so far...but it might grow on me. I think some of the little jumps to the finish line are cheap...

 

Never saw the XMas version before...a whole new game to master MWAHAHAHAHA

Ah, Skyroads. Skyroads and I don't go back nearly as far as with some of you (I think I found it on the Net a few years ago), but I was pretty strongly addicted to the game for a while.
