Robert Mruczec of twingalaxies.com has offered cash bounties for high scores on a number of games including 5 Atari 2600 titles

Frankensteins Monster, Entombed, Coconuts, Tuttankham, and River Raid

Coconuts does seem an odd choice but ah well it's his money

 

Robert is an Excellent gamer, I think many of the challenges are on games that he is good at, kind of challenging you to beat him

$200 for one million on River Raid using only one plane? This would be maybe the greatest gaming feat ever accomplished. That would be almost like 999,999 on Kaboom! with one bucket.

 

I'll say, I've never maxed an Activision game without using ANY extra lives. I could get close to the end on Kung Fu Master or Double Dragon on only one life, but not River Raid!

 

Good luck. I know Todd has gotten around 500K+, but that's only halfway!
