I just received an original PAL copy of Klax that I purchased off Ebay.

 

So I think the details on the guide are wrong as this cart is not a prototype, unless it was just never released on NTSC?!

 

Maybe the rarety guide should be updated.

The NTSC version of Klax only exists as a prototype.

 

The PAL version was a standard release.

 

The rarity guide only lists North American games by default. In order to see a world-wide listing, you need to select "All" in the search box.

The NTSC version is never official release, but there exist Prototypes from them. Tempest own one if I not wrong. So the NTSC version is a Prototype. And its diffrent from the PAL version.

 

The PAL version is an official release. And no Prototype. But the NTSC is one.

Oh yes, sorry I did not check the search form properly.

 

I've just been playing Klax, its a very fun and playable version of the game. Pity its missing the 2 player option though.

Yes, I don't think that there is a PAL version of 7800 Klax.
