Have you ever been screwed by Ebay or Paypal?

I've heard tales from people (and employees) about paypal just closing accounts and taking the money. Here: http://www.paypalsucks.com Has Ebay/Paypal ever cheated you out of money?

I have. Back in August I sold a VCR to a customer for $90, the customer paid, and then I shipped it. About a month later, the customer charged it back, because they claimed it wasn't delievered. I emailed to see what was wrong, but of course the customer did not respond. It was obviously a scam.

 

I tried to get paypal or ebay to do something, but they did nothing. They assumed that I was guilty simply because I did not use delivery confirmation. i.e. "Guilty until proven innocent"... the exact opposite of how it should be.

A second time my house was flooded and the game damaged, so I gave the customer a refund... and stupid paypal subtracted the funds twice! No big deal. Sometimes my credit card gets charged twice, so I just call the company and get the error fixed. NOT PAYPAL. I complained and Paypal once again did nothing.

 

Fortunately this time I was dealing with an honest buyer. He returned the money.

Christ. I may be new here but don't you ever shut up about eBay or Paypal, or people on this site screwing you?

 

Yeah and eBay screwed me once, they charged my credit card a day eraly once. I was so pissed.

I have never accused anyone on this site of cheating me out of money. NEVER.
