King Atari
I pretty much look every day on ebay for NTSC Double Dragon carts for the 2600, and I've got to say, I see more Xenophobes. The PAL version comes up very often (I think it should be rated at least a 3), but the NTSC one is rather difficult to find, and I've NEVER seen one in the wild. Anyone else think this should be upped one?
Pitfall Harry
I practically NEVER agree when people suggest something is more rare than its AtariAge rarity assignment. But in this case, after careful consideration, I have to agree with you. I say that Double Dragon ought to be a 5. Ben
King Atari
There! Pitfall agrees! Anyone else?
MattyXB
Don't know, I have only the PAL and HES version. I most collect no NTSC games. Only from my favourites.
Skatepunk60
All i know is i aint got one
King Atari
Heh heh, see, rare! You know what, I'm gonna post this in the 2600 forum, more people see it there.
King Atari
The PAL version is almost always on ebay, especially the HES one. I don't see Salu as much, though it comes up frequently enough.
DrAnxiety
I just launched an Activision Double Dragon auction. YOUR TICKET TO DOUBLE DRAGON!!!!
Pitfall Harry
How can your auction claim that your Double Dragon is in "absolute MINT condition" when the label is torn in two places to expose the screws that hold the cart case together? I'm positive that Activision did not ship them that way. My copy of the game has a complete label. Ben
King Atari
Yeah man, it's in 'good' condition, but not 'mint'.
ATARIPITBULL
I have a sealed NTSC copy of Double Dragon but it took a lot of looking on ebay till I found it.
Alex
Well, that's two "Ayes" for increasing the Double Dragon rating. Anyone else have a comment?
King Atari
Alex, here's the two answers I got when I posted it in the 2600 forum, so I guess that's two more: 2600 Double Dragon rarity question
King Atari
Double Dragon Thanks for the new rarity, Alex/Albert. That's much closer.
dwh
The black label Activision carts are getting harder to find in general--I patiently waited to get a good label copy of Ghostbusters on ebay a few weeks ago.I got the rest about ten months ago==just more people going after them carts now...
