joeybastard #2 Posted January 30, 2004 Damn, I wish they had included that stuff on the GBA version
liveinabin #3 Posted January 30, 2004 Nah, the GBA version gets my vote. I can play all those games on a real Atari on my TV. To have all of those games in your pocket. That is cool.
MegaManFan #4 Posted January 30, 2004 Nah, the GBA version gets my vote. I can play all those games on a real Atari on my TV. To have all of those games in your pocket. That is cool. Hell yeah. I love standing in line at the post office now, because it's a good excuse for a game o' Frostbite. Fish, jump, it's all in the mind! If you wanna test me, I'm sure you'll find, the water's cold and the igloo's icey but avoid the polar bear and you'll do nicely!
Csonicgo #5 Posted January 31, 2004 My GBA Activision anthology was killed in a firey GBA SP death. Sad, because I had unlocked everything!

Csonicgo #7 Posted January 31, 2004 something with the battery, I guess.
chrisbid #8 Posted January 31, 2004 you can buy a replacement battery for the SP, and there is no way you had everything unlocked on GBA AA, no mortal could get 3000 points on Kaboom with that controller setup.
RCmodeler #9 Posted January 31, 2004 Did we have touchtone phones in the 80's? Everyone I knew had the old pulse/rotary phones.
JB #10 Posted January 31, 2004 Did we have touchtone phones in the 80's? Everyone I knew had the old pulse/rotary phones. We had one of those ugly yellow touch-tones here.
raindog #11 Posted January 31, 2004 Yeah, one of my uncles had a touch tone phone when I visited him in 1977 in Chicago. I know, because I got myself in trouble with it
bjk7382 #12 Posted January 31, 2004 So did they ever make a game carousel like that? Seems like it would hold quite a few carts in a small spot. Good for the most popular ones.
raindog #13 Posted January 31, 2004 I remember a 4-way one (in fact, I think I had the 8-track-tape version of it ) but not a 6-way one as depicted there.
+uosipa llamxew #14 Posted January 31, 2004 So did they ever make a game carousel like that? My best friend had one... but it too was 4-way. I remember begging him to sell me his Atari and games back when the SNES was big. Even though it was never used, he insisted that his dad wasn't ready to let it go. Also, he must have had a Supercharger (I'd never heard of such a thing back then) because I remember he had a tapedeck hooked into the Atari, and I thought that his brother was writing his own games in Basic or something... Wow, the memories! :-)
AtariDude #15 Posted February 3, 2004 My GBA Activision anthology was killed in a firey GBA SP death. Sad, because I had unlocked everything! Sorry to hear that. I know that I play Anthology on my GBA SP but the only game so far that I have gotten the patch is in hockey. I do a lot better with the PS2 version where I have unlocked quite a few of the commercials as well as getting lots of patches.
