Best Atari Football?

What do you guys think is the best (funnest) Atari Football game?

The old 2k one with these blocky players which is also on the 32in1.

There wasn't one . . . Let's face it, until Tecmo Bowl came out, the concepts of "football" and "console game" were not on the same page . . .

 

RealSports: Football is an OK enough 2-player game, though, just way too extremely easy solo. A chimp could win 99-0 every time.

Although it's not Atari, NFL Football for the Intellivision played really well and predates Tecmo Bowl.

Umm, I'm voting RealSports Football here.

 

I don't know why but there's just something about this game that makes it worth playing to everyone, even if you aren't a sports game fan or a real football fan in general.

 

It's just appealing to all audiences.

I don't care if it doesn't play like real football, I like how easily you tell each guy where to go and what to do. I just wish you could play it by yourself. Two player only sucks.

The best is Super Challenge Football because your players have warp power!

Back in the day, M Network Football was the best. We even had a league where we kept stats for each game. I was the master of the juke.

 

Realsports Football was ok but I thought Atari's Super Football was right up there with M-network's. It's been a long time since I played them though.

I am a huge fan of Super Football. That is the best game hands down.

I probably play "Real Sports Football" the most but I have to admit that "Super Football" is simply amazing! Me thinks that it was the first real step towards the Madden-type games.

Now, NFL 2Kx is a different matter...

Super Football is incredible, considering that its on the VCS. A complex game that actually makes an attempt at real football (unlike most of the others). I still can't beat the computer at Super Football. Next Football season, I'll have to make another serious run at it.
