Is this seller from atari age?

Recommended Posts

I've not heard of them before, but I have had to re-list quite a few auctions in the last couple weeks. The bidders either didn't read the auction, or they had an emergency come up. That may be why they have had to re-list some of them, Non-Paying Bidders.

I have never dealt with him. I know that he was buying up auctions left and right for the last few months and now he wants to sell. He had some questionable proto's up on eBay before and he contacted me offering to sell all of them on the side. He feedback looks ok to me. I wouldn't be surprised if he has 2-3 copies of some items since he did buy so much stuff.

The stunt cycle is not a true proto, it was sold at 2003 Philly Classic. This guy sold one last week for 125.00. I guess the buyer did'nt know you can still get them at Atari 2600.com for $45.00.

I was wondering about that one, until I looked real close to the back of the box. If you look close, you can see copy right of 2003. This is The first time that I have seen this one.

Well..the stunt cycle isn't a true proto in the least. But that particular one is a limited run of the first 50 made. The remaining ones, don't have the number of on the back of them. At least the one I gave out as a prize at OKGE 2003 didn't have any type of Number # of 50 on it. So in that sense it was a first run production version. Is it rare...no. Because it is still the same game, and virtually the same packaging as the others you can still buy for $45.00. Perhaps the limited bit on the back matters, but if you really want to do that...the change the packaging more and or provide something in those limited runs the others won't contain.
