Recommended Posts

By consoleaccessories4u on ebay!!! :x

First he sent me an email that says he accepts paypal and to send the payment to him. So I sent him the payment 2 days ago and today I recieved an email from him saying he doesn't accept paypal payments for this item and that he will "refund me the payment when his paypal is built back up", ARGH!! Also, I went back and checked my email that said where to send the paypal payment and its not even there anymore! it has vanished from my email, I dont understand it. Could he have changed it after he sent it to me???

Argh! makes me wanna punch my monitor in! :x

I think he's a member at DP? Maybe under a different name, but he posts links to his auctions sometimes. Your post is a bit hard to understand, you are saying you paid, and he will not accept it now, but he has to wait to refund you? So what should you do in the meantime? And for how long a wait, why can't he just refund the payment instantly? It doesn't make a lot of sense.

Also I haven't heard of being able to change email once it's sent, but I had a weird experience with a pm at the DP board a couple days ago. I was sent a pm with a total, and while I was replying, I guess he had tried to edit, and started before I viewed it, so as I was repling, he was editing. Once I clicked send, the message in my inbox was new again, this time with a different total! I guess with pm systems it's a little different, since you have outboxes & sent boxes, until the other party views a message sits in outbox, and it can be edited, once it's in the sent it's permanent. But with timing issues, sometimes you can go back and make changes and the other party can sometimes view both. :ponder:

That seller is known for being extremely slow to ship. My guess is that his PayPal account is frozen. File a complaint with PayPal immediately. DO NOT WAIT. When it comes to getting money back from PayPal it is first come first serve. If you are too late, you will never see your money again. I have dealt with sellers who have had their PayPal accounts frozen.

I paid by paypal and now 2 days later he says he doesn't accept paypal. He said he will refund my paypal payment after he has built his account up with funds. He wants me to send a money order after/if he refunds me :x

You know the guy? He must have changed the email after I sent payment because I leave most of my new emails in the inbox for a couple days!!!

Whether or not you have the original Email or he changed his is irrelevant. There's a record of the transaction in your Paypal history archives. Use that information to get your funds back. The fact that he's "building up money in his account" is a huge red flag. Don't wait too long on the chargeback procedure, or you'll likely end up with no money and no game.

That is not possible, unless you have one of the nastiest viruses on your computer that I have ever heard of. :ponder:

But that doesn't explain where the money you sent him went! You paid two days ago, did he spend your money on something else? :ponder: It would be in his account still he you paid him and he hasn't used it to pay something else of first. You shouldn't have to wait for him to transfer funds in. I think I'd go ahead and file a complaint now

DP is: http://www.digitpress.com/

I think I was wrong on that name thou, I tried to search, but I can never find anything with their search function. I don't think this was a power seller thou. His name was something another with console & 4u or 2u or something like that in the ending, similar but maybe someone else. I checked the seller out you bought from, seems strange indeed with the amount of transactions they do that this would be a problem, but if they've stopped with paypal, who knows what the deal is. Maybe he takes your money deposits it into his checking 1 or 2 week delay, then he sends you a check back for the remainder after his paypal fees.. :ponder:
