Esc #1 Posted February 13, 2004 Not mine, but interesting. Does anyone own one of these? 5000 games? Are they all NES and Atari 2600? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3077829760
Nukey Shay #2 Posted February 13, 2004 LOL They could at least cut down on the number of duplicates. Do they have Arkanoid listed a hundred times or something? "Super Shrek Bros"??
Esc #3 Posted February 13, 2004 Yeah, I just noticed that. If you look at the list the first 8 are the same as the last 8. Super Shrek Brothers is obvious a Super Mario ripoff.

ussexplorer #5 Posted February 13, 2004 Thats pretty funny for a name. You can find all different type of systems like that. I myself is looking for one that showed up in this area about 1 year ago at thoughs electronic shows that mostly sell mfg rejects, refurbs and always have gusy int he parking lot installing speakers/amps they just purchased. At the time I went to the show. I had not cash and they seem to go on ebay for way more than what they are worth. If I ever opened a game store. I would order a bunch of those clone systems. since they do seem to have a following. If you get the right one. Instead of just a pad. You can play nes games. Laters..... Mindfield #6 Posted February 13, 2004 $0.99 BIN, $20 shipping. How many mailing lists does this get you on?
Swingtown #7 Posted February 13, 2004 $0.99 BIN, $20 shipping. How many mailing lists does this get you on? So he charges $20 to ship one, but $15 to ship 12 of them... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3584408745
Esc #8 Posted February 13, 2004 Looks like it's $39.99 now to ship 12 of them.
Atariman #9 Posted February 14, 2004 it just looks like someone downloaded a bunch of nintendo roms (hacked ones, obviously) and dumped them into a system with an emulator. I've seen modified mario bros. games before. someone I knew made one where mario looked like Bond and the fireballs shot straight out rather than bouncing along the ground
Bryan #10 Posted February 14, 2004 It's probably not an emulator. There have been pirate versions of the NES chips out there for a long time. -Bry
Esc #11 Posted February 15, 2004 The auction says "cartridge compatible" and I don't know if it is, but it looks like a cartridge slot underneath one of the controller bases?
