SpendTooMuchOnAtari #1 Posted February 15, 2004 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...1&category=3528 Don't get me wrong, I am very pleased with my Atari computer auctions but this one is a little nutty I think.

Brad2600 #5 Posted February 15, 2004 Why complain? If a game fetches more than it's really worth and the bidder is new, so what? Reap the profits. As long as you are honest about the listing, why complain?

video game addict #7 Posted February 15, 2004 It's crazy the most common games on 8-bit sometimes bring the bigger bucks Galaxian I've sold in the same range, and I noticed a Space Invaders going for around $30 the other day, Pac-man always receives several bids, and I don't think you can find a Ms Pac for less than $5 just the opposite than what you might think. SpendTooMuchOnAtari #8 Posted February 15, 2004 Here is another good one...... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...MESSE%3AIT&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...MESSE%3AIT&rd=1 I know the sealed one is not in very good shape but it is sealed and there will be a manual and a squished box but also, the cart itself will be new and never played. It's all good though, some of my other games aren't doing too good but lot's of time left.
Brad2600 #9 Posted February 15, 2004 No offense man. I didn't mean to say what I said about complaining. Hope you can forgive me.

deathtrappomegranate #11 Posted February 16, 2004 I think that people sometimes pay over the odds for retro items for nostalgia value. I did pretty well yesterday for common 8-bit stuff, too. A few days ago, someone in the UK sold an entire XE-specific collection, and got insane prices for several items. Listing a few together often helps to attract interest...I have my eye on some of your stuff too...

MattG/Snyper2099 #13 Posted February 16, 2004 Well, I collect for just about every classic "video game system" and even though the atari 8 bit line of consoles are really computers, I still collect games for them. I have to say with all honesty that in the last 4 years, I haven't been able to come across one single atari 8 bit cart that I needed. I don't really have that many either. It's just so much harder to collect for than most other systems, especially in that last couple of years. There's plenty of common or semi-rare 8 bit titles that I would pay well over $10 for. So, anyone want to trade some 8 bit games?
SpendTooMuchOnAtari #14 Posted February 16, 2004 So, anyone want to trade some 8 bit games? I think this is neat, I didn't get it on with the other computer stuff. Check out the picture, you have to love this cover. AND, What the hell is that thing....I guess an alien. We should hold an AA poll on that one. Not sure what to think he is.
