NovaXpress #1 Posted February 19, 2004 There was a weird little company who made weird little games which were fascinating but I can barely recall them. Two of their titles were Oo-Topos and Cyborg. These were the most creative games around at the time (circa 80-81) and I haven't played them since they came out. Does anyone know of what I speak? Does anyone still play Moondust on the C-64? That was an amaxing game which would still appeal to the REZ crowd.
maibock #2 Posted February 19, 2004 I found the first game but not the second - beware of pop ups on this site http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?id=
NovaXpress #3 Posted February 19, 2004 I didn't even bother to check around until now, I also found Oo-Topos but nothing on Cyborg. Emulation time.
SteveW #4 Posted February 20, 2004 I had a copy of Oo-Topos on my Amiga. Probably still have it, if the disk still works. Which is doubtful, the way they've been treated. I never got into the story too much. The graphics were pretty primitive (especially for the Amiga), and I had been given about a hundred other games, so I gave up playing it and moved on. NovaXpress #5 Posted February 20, 2004 These game were only interesting at the time of release. But their desire for a deeper kind of gameplay was a harbinger of what was to come with RPGs.
