sku_u #2 Posted February 20, 2004 Whoever made the side deal, more power to you. That feedback is terrible, and I'm not just talking about the negatives.
Gregory DG #3 Posted February 20, 2004 Hmm... That person is from Lake Wales... I could just drive over and pick it up.
holygrailvideogames.com #4 Posted February 20, 2004 I saw that auction earlier, but as soon as I saw the feedback I passed it up. I don't like to gamble with my money.
Brad2600 #5 Posted February 20, 2004 Side deal? Eh well. With terrible feedback like that, I wouldn't dare bid.
SimonTemplar #6 Posted February 20, 2004 Notice the seller pretends to be a powerseller in his description. He even added the powerseller icon to fool the buyers.
BTHOTU #7 Posted February 21, 2004 I hate when people post games in lits on here, I wass wathing this. I eamiled the selleer, to do a BIN, he hasnt he said he is relisting probably gonna put CC by itself.
deathtrappomegranate #8 Posted February 21, 2004 That is always a hazard when you email the seller. When lots like this come up, someone always seems to do it. If I were selling an item, and I received 5 or 6 emails asking me to sell on a BIN, I'd think, "Ah-hah! This item is worth something." And I would probably surmise that the offers were below the true value of the item, and just let it run. But some sellers just want fast cash, and you can't really blame them for that. I admit that I have benefited from this kind of deal before...I've also lost out for the same reason many, many times. It's a case of "If you can't beat 'em..." Ideally, it would be better if eBay viewed the act of listing an item as legally binding, in the same way as they do with placing a bid.
Gregory DG #9 Posted February 22, 2004 Funny how the seller pulled the original auction when they found out CC was rare... You'd think s/he'd check the rarity of all the games first. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3080017327
