israelg #1 Posted February 21, 2004 Well, for me: 1. Kaboom! 2. Circus Atari 3. Breakout 4. Warlords 5. Night Driver Israel Geron T.
NovaXpress #2 Posted February 21, 2004 I have different tastes here than most gamers, I don't like Kaboom for example. 1. Astroblast (if you haven't tried it with paddles, you're missing out) 2. Tac-Scan 3. Super Breakout 4. Warlords 5. Encounter At L5
dougy76 #3 Posted February 21, 2004 Well, for me: 1. Kaboom! 2. Circus Atari 3. Breakout 4. Warlords 5. Night Driver Israel Geron T. Among the classics, my two hands-down favorites are Kaboom and Warlords. I just picked up a copy of Marble Craze though, and am really getting into it. Rob Mitchell #7 Posted February 22, 2004 I like all paddle games .. especially Blackjack! What about SCSICide! That game rocks! Rob Mitchell, Atlanta, GA
Nateo #8 Posted February 22, 2004 Ooo yeah, SCSIside rocks! Kaboom is also very good, along with Warlords and Video Olympics.
+uosipa llamxew #9 Posted February 22, 2004 Blackjack!?!?!?!?! For reals?! Circus Atari is the best. It's fun to bounce yer clowns... but then it's equally fun to miss 'em because then they go kasplatter! HAHAHAHAHHA! Someone should suggest these paddle games to my old elementary school principal. Something to divert the attention away from his sadistic schemes!
+Random Terrain #10 Posted February 22, 2004 I used to hate Circus Atari back in the 1980s because it had that blocky-looking first wave Atari look, but it turned out to be the paddle game I played the most, so for me, the best paddle game is Circus Atari, closely followed by Warlords. I like Warlords better than normal Breakout games and while Kaboom is fun, it hurts my eyes. I never got to play Tac-Scan on the Atari, but I think I would have liked it. 1. Circus Atari 2. Warlords

StanJr #17 Posted February 22, 2004 Warplock and Bugs, maybe two of the WORST paddle games. UGH Secret Agent is pretty good, too bad it wasn't released.

bjk7382 #22 Posted February 23, 2004 I scanned over this thread and nobody has mentioned TAC-SCAN yet One of the best paddle games by far. I also like SCSIcide, Circus atari, and Kaboom
Big Player #23 Posted February 23, 2004 I scanned over this thread and nobody has mentioned TAC-SCAN yet Maybe instead of scanning, you should read the posts. (Check the first response to the thread.)
bjk7382 #24 Posted February 23, 2004 I scanned over this thread and nobody has mentioned TAC-SCAN yet Maybe instead of scanning, you should read the posts. (Check the first response to the thread.) I still think tac-scan should be on peoples lists more than breakout and super breakout. Tac scan blows those games out of the water. I only see it mentioned twice after reading the posts. I personally hate the breakout games, but I do enjoy Fireball, and some newer mame roms similar to breakout.
