Sega Ages
I always tried to be stylish. In the 80s I used "RAD" In the 90s I used "ICE" Both expressions of cool that seemed to suit the times. Now I use "VAC" based on another forum alias.

kisrael
I have to admit I shunned my own initials (KLI) for the kid-kool "Z". Later, I realized my first name Kirk goes to KRK pretty easily, and usually use that.
bruser_inc
I always put DBG---my initials. Or the classic AAA. Or POO. The arcade her turned off the games each night so they lost the scores, each morning the manager would put in one one of them (it was a shooting game): IOU _A_ B_J _O_ YES _I_ D_O LUV KEL XOX And Kelly was a dude. Scooterb23
I use SRB...initials. One of my favorite games ever is U.S. Classic, a really good golf game from the early 90s (kind of like Golden Tee) on that game, if you entered the initials AAA...it gave you the in game name of GOD !! caveman
I had a few: CAZ- the first syllable of my last name. WHO- after I started listening to the Who. SAB- after discovering Black Sabbath. ZIP, ZED- when I got a bad score that still cracked the high score table. ARP- after my favorite synth, the ARP 2600.
dgo
dgo has always been my alias In flying you have DFO which means Distinguished Flight Officer So when I was a kid I replaced 'Flight' for 'Game' and voila ! It used to be in capitals DGO but I found that a little pretentious and not very friendly looking, so it evolved into dgo not longer associated with the abbreviation. it also happens to be an acronym for.. yes
Heavy Sixer
Nothing fancy, I've always just used my initials TES. I let my scores do the talking.
Student Driver
I've used a few arcade aliases: RCM (initials) SON, on games that I played with my mom when I was a kid. She'd enter MOM, of course. MAX, after Max Sterling from "Robotech." Geeky, I know, but he *was* the arcade-game ace in the series. I always hated that early-80s Midway titles allowed for only two initials. I became addicted to Kick at a local haunt recently, and half-heartedly entered "MX" or "RM" when I'd place, but it didn't feel right. Rocko
In addition to my initials, I use: PaR (On golden Tee, my initials spelled backwards) Hat And the usual poo, ass fuk (I would do that on a bad score, and if it was a free machine, I would get a score just a little worse and use "you")
