beware of ebay seller jetblackjawbreaker

Recommended Posts

my wife purchased a complete mint boxed black sega dreamcast from him on feb 10th. she then paid through paypal on the 10th. The seller then said they would ship the item out right away. Some time had passed and still no item. She then contacted him again and he said he had gone to D.C. and had not had time to ship the item and he would ship right away. a couple of days pass and still no item. she then contacts him and he says there was a problem with the address because he was in a hurry to ship out the item and problems would be fixed and it would go out.

In the meantime negatives start pilling up for him on ebay and then he turns his feedback to private because he starts to sell some more items. He states on his about me page that the negatives are due to his email service being done and not being able to contact the seller's when in fact the negatives are pilling up because people have paid and no items.

I could go on and on. The point of this post is to warn people since i think he sells classic video games. Also does anyone live near Reynoldsburg, OH 43068?

So much for a daughter's first valentines present to her dad. :(

I had the same thing happen last year where the seller seemed alright and then went on a binge of not shipping items. I ended reversing charges on my credit card before the seller finally realized that he was getting nothing. He then shipped it out and I finally paid him again.

At the risk of sounding like RC, if you're purchasing an item on eBay to be a time-sensitive gift, you really should specify that when you contact the seller.

I had a large NES lot ship via parcel post that took 10 days for whatever reason to get from WI to TX, and the buyer was flipping out, since she bought it as a gift for her fiancee's birthday. I would have gladly recommended priority mail (and probably hustled more myself) if she'd have just said that it was important that the parcel arrive by a certain date.

The sale ended up OK, but I felt bad at the time, and I'm sure she was disappointed overall, especially because she shelled out some fairly decent bucks for the lot. :(

i think shipping coming out of texas and into texas is equally slow as hell.. remember the postmark on the stuff I sold you that one time? amazing, you think they would at least hire the efficient illegals :P
