FOR SALE--Snow Bros arcade extras (marquee, monitor bezel)

Recommended Posts

I recently bought myself an authentic Snow Bros PCB for my homemade Supergun system. The generous seller included the original marquee and monitor bezel cardboard artwork...I only really need the PCB since I'm running this off a Supergun.

Anyway, who is interested? Condition is excellent all around. The plastic marquee has all the paint intact and it does not appear to have been trimmed or cut as is the case with some marquees. The cardboard bezel is also in good shape, but it's folded in half (I assume this is the normal). Anyone interested?

I think $25.00 is a fair price for the lot. That would include shipping to the lower 48 states by shipping method of my choice (can upgrade to Priority Mail for an additional cost). Payment only--no trades. Paypal or Money Orders gladly accepted. If I'm way off in regards to my pricing, then please let me know and lead me to some sort of price guide. Pictures provided by email if desired. I have 100% flawless eBay feedback as well as some deals/trades with fellow AA members. :)

The guy I bought my Snow Bros board from offered me the marquee as well! :)  I'm still trying to figure out how to affix it to my TV, ;o  I too use it with a supergun, :D

Ah! A fellow SuperGun gamer! We're kind of a rare breed around these forums (I'd estimate that some 90% of the members here have no idea what a Supergun is). Did you build your unit or buy a pre-made one?

Mine's 100% home built by me utilizing a JROK 3.0 RGB to NTSC video convertor and a standard AT PC Power supply.

Who wants a supergun when you can have the real thing. Arcade boards are fragile. I wouldn't want to have my arcade boards just sitting on the floor or sitting on a table.

No I bought a used MAS supernova actually, from J.Max of these boards. I've got a Jrok as well, I plan to use when I evenutally consolize my 2 slot MVS into a stand alone game system. Teh supergun I have now thou is just your typical ready made deal, wired for MVS 4 buttons, and a CPS1 harness I believe.

Thought it was interesting you just bought Snow Bros thou, I only just got it about 3 weeks ago, my seller also offered me the marquee, I've been collecting them, putting up on my walls. Above the doorways & windows mainly, have around 13 or so now :)

I have the real thing (cabinet). I just find the SuperGun to be a better choice in most cases since I can kick back on the couch, and play my favorite arcade PCB's on my large screen tv.

PCB's aren't as fragile as many make them out to be. They're made to endure harsh arcade environments, constantly in use inside hot, dusty cabinets.

I actually looked at buying the MAS at one point before I decided to brush up on my soldering and wiring skills and go the homemade route. It was actually a good learning experience...it's safe to say that I learned a great deal about coin-op and Jamma architecture which has paid off when I service my cabinet or make tweaks to my SuperGun. Had I have bought the MAS, I'd be somewhat leery about making modifications to it. The JROK makes things insanely easy...though there are guys out there who go through the trouble of building their own RGB convertors! :o

JROK recently came out with the JROK 3.1 which many are saying has improved composite output (less distortion and wavey patterns) and even better S-Video, which was already pretty damn good in 3.0

Anyway, yeah Snow Bros has been one of my favorite games since I first saw it at Funspot in 1991. I also love the small form factor of the PCB...very unique! Which other PCB's do you own? I've got the obligatory Street Fighter 2, plus Devastators, Neo Geo MVS 1 slot board, Bottom of the Ninth, Raiden, Tiger Road, Crime City, and a few others.
