Recommended Posts

Well, Stella2600 recently sold off a ton of atari carts, I bought several of the commons to stock my self's, won several of the 'peeon' auction, I just got a invoice, 85 bucks to ship 143 carts!!!!! I hope this is just an oversight for this would be the biggest 'lets screw this seller in the bum' auctions I ever won..

LOL, Fedex ground would cost about $12 to ship that many carts.

You might want to check with the seller again. I checked his prices on shipping for some of his old auctions with more than a 143 carts and shipping to St. Louis was less than $20. I know that you don't live in St. Louis, but based on where you live I would think that the price might be about the same. My guess is that he combined the invoices of all of the auctions that you won, but didn't revise the shipping.

thats what Im hoping it was.. thats why Im staying 'civil' about this until I hear a reply. I exspect the cost to be a tad mor than normal to help cover ebay fees.. but 85 is a tad steep:)

Well, I got a response from this person after emailing em and politly asking if the shipping charge was a accident or if indeed they are trying to charge 85 shipping.. here is what the reply is:

Hello, You won several of my auctions. I have not recieved payment nor any response. Please reply with your intent A.S.A.P. ---Amy Hemmelgarn

well now Im really concerned, mayber the person sent this out without reading my email first? I feel this is unlikly but am trying to give the seller the benifit of the doubt, I saw the email come threw while I was at my computer, so I instantly tried to call this person, no answer? I wonder what is up anyone know stella2600? are they a member of atariage?
