FA: Power Player LCD/TV Games (168 built-in) (NES Clone)

This is a strange little unit I got for Christmas, but don't have any use for. I've never seen one before, so I asked where it came from when I recieved it and they said it came from a Kiosk in an Atlanta mall.

It's a little handheld game that looks like a Gameboy Advance, but isn't. The box says "168 games built-in" and some of them play on a little LCD (simple games like Pong and Tetris-like games). Some of the other games play when hooked up to a TV with a provided video cable, and look like Nintendo NES-era games. I don't have a list of the games, but they are dubiously-named anyway-- kind of like Chinese-to-english translations.

It runs on batteries or an A/C adapter (I don't think it includes an adapter). There is a second controller for 2-player games, and a gun for some of the light-gun games.

That's certainly an interesting variation. I saw something similar around Christmastime in the local malls being sold via kiosk dealers. The box and packaging was exactly the same, except that instead of the GBA-lookalike, the actual system was just an N64 style controller. The games are hit or miss...some are EXACT NES games with all graphics and text intact. Others had altered graphics and very bizarre name changes.

I like the controller. It reminds me of a prototype controller that was supposed to come out for the Nuon.

They already pulled the auction without even as much as a notice about it!

If anyone here wants it, I'd take $35 shipped anywhere in the continental US.
