Famicoman #1 Posted March 10, 2004 Okay, I just got an Intellivision v.2, and an Oddysey v.2 unit. I need to know of some good games for them. Oh, do Oddysey games work on an Oddysey 2? How do you master the intellivision rotating disc? And Does the Intellivision sound module work on the intellivision 2.

Night Stalker Snafu Astrosmash Utopia Thunder Castle Tower Of Doom Commando B-17 Bomber The Dreadnaught Factor Burgertime Diner Space Spartans Triple Action Hover Force Space Battle Auto Racing Space Armada Lock N' Chase Bump N' Jump Buzz Bombers Star Strike 2: The original Odyssey and the O2 are completely different systems, so you can't play Odyssey games on an O2. 3: I've never played an actual INTV, so I don't know what it's like. 4: You mean the Intellivoice, right? If so, yes it does work.
Ze_ro #3 Posted March 10, 2004 ApolloBoy already listed most of the good INTV games, but I'd definitely add Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (this game kicks Adventure's ass), AD&D: Treasure of Tarmin (Imagine Eye of the Beholder, but in 1982), Frog Bog, Dragonfire, and Demon Attack. As for the Odyssey^2: Quest for the Rings* Conquest of the World* K.C. Munchkin K.C.'s Krazy Chase Monkeyshines Pickaxe Pete UFO Freedom Fighters Invaders from Hyperspace Attack of the Timelord Killer Bees * - Quest for the Rings and Conquest of the World both came with a whole bunch of extra pieces in addition to the cartridge... so if you want to actually get the most out of these games, you'll need the game board, tokens, and whatnot that were included with it. do Oddysey games work on an Oddysey 2? I know this was already answered... but the original Odyssey was essentially a Pong clone (Yeah, I know, it came out earlier...)... the cartridges had no actual components, all they did was connect pins on the cartridge port. It was basically an alternative to setting switches like most Pong systems did. The Odyssey^2 is MUCH more powerful. No, the O^2 doesn't play original Odyssey games, but you're not missing much... all the Odyssey really did was extremely basic ball 'n' paddle games and some light gun stuff. How do you master the intellivision rotating disc? I don't think I ever did. I never liked that controller. You can use it mostly the same way you'd use D-pad on more recent consoles (rotating it doesn't really do anything, it's just a 16-direction D-pad). It seems more comfortable to use it with my right hand, while using my left to handle all the buttons. And Does the Intellivision sound module work on the intellivision 2. Yep, should work fine. It just plugs into the cartridge port, so I'm fairly certain it'll work with any of the INTV models out there. --Zero
