Questions about Neo Geo Pocket Color

Recommended Posts

1) What was the time frame the system was out? I don't remember anyone selling it around here, or I must have over looked it.

Vidgame.net says that it had a US lifespan of 1999 to 2000.

At that time I was busy being jobless, burying myself in loans, and going back to school so I wouldn't have to flip burgers for the rest of my life. Still, I find it amazing that I missed it entirely.

I hate those packs so what did snk get all the product back rip them out of the boxes and stick them into bubble packs yuck. I wish they would have just left the stuff in the stores.

Here is a store that has a ton of NGPC I don't think they have a website though.

No... they just had the masses of produced carts sitting in their US warehouse without any manual or box. That's what is being sold off here.

It is too bad that this system got squashed. It came out at the wrong time and by the wrong manufacturer. I took a flight to Spain which round trip was over 20 hors total and I played Cardfighters for about half that time. The battery life on that baby is absolutely awesome. No need to change any batteries whatsoever. Nice bright screen and the joystick really gives incredible control. It really was more advanced in so many ways than the GBA. It is just a shame that the library is so dang limited and slanted to fighters.
