NovaXpress #1 Posted March 13, 2004 I just head about this. It shows why playing games for money at home can never work. When there's real money at stake, there will be cheating. Here's the story:Tournament Fraud Revelation There are many methods that have been used to cheat. My favorite is attaching a belt sander to the trackball. Because of all this, Golden tee is banning home players from tournaments. The punchline, which the article missed, is that the cheaters they speak of used a very low-tech method. They just disconnected the Y roller which allowed them to hit a perfect straight shot.
Sylentwulf #2 Posted March 15, 2004 That is the most pathetically LONG and drawn out article I have ever skimmed. Should have been about 1/4 that size IF THAT.
Nukey Shay #3 Posted March 15, 2004 Good. I hate video games being pimped for gambling by a corporation. Place the bets back between players.
