ATARI TROLL #8 Posted March 17, 2004 I did link this thread on the Cannonball Run Page-towards bottom. Had a broken link folks! WHAT HAPPEN TO THE COMABT NATION BOX ART?? ATARI TROLL #10 Posted March 17, 2004 damnit....did I ask wrong or am I that confusing....Do you have any lochjaw or malagai left?? That's what I meant beside my COMBAT bs..<---sticking foot in mouth!
Max-T #11 Posted March 17, 2004 Please excuse my dumb question, but what is the big deal with the "01" Combat carts? I know they were the first ones ever made, but could they possibly be as rare as Lochjaw or Malagai? I have an "01" with the original instruction manual. So does that mean I'm rich, or what? Again, I honestly apologize for what I know has to be a dumb question, but I am just now getting back into Atari stuff after 15+ years of playing ostensibly more advanced, but ultimately more boring games. Please don't flame me. I'm fragile.
CPUWIZ #12 Posted March 17, 2004 No, it's a joke, however do take a look at the border color.
Max-T #13 Posted March 17, 2004 I am colorblind. Drat! These wretched cones in my retinas have failed me once again. I can't tell the difference. But then, I can't tell the difference between blue and purple, or green and orange, so I guess I'm not really shocked. But, ummm, seriously, what is the difference? You can flame me now -- two dumb questions within 30 minutes deserve it... But I really am colorblind. This has given me problems ever since the "Color two fish red" phase of elementary school. Very embarassing. And I was always at a disadvantage while playing "CandyLand." Oh well, since my cart doesn't make me rich, I guess I'll just use it to keep the dust out of my Sixer's cartridge slot. Thanks for the clarification and patience. CPUWIZ #14 Posted March 17, 2004 Your endlabel border color is silver, now look at the other one. No flaming necessary.
gamerz #15 Posted March 17, 2004 So what was first, red border or silver???
Max-T #17 Posted March 17, 2004 OK, OK, even I have to admit -- I can now see the difference but it slipped past me earlier. Thanks again, CPUWIZ, you are the man.
