liveinabin #30 Posted March 24, 2004 If I had any Japanese language knowledge (apart from how to ask for an English newspaper!), I'd go for the Wonderswan - great little console. Failing that, the SuperGrafX - Bomberman on home turf

video game addict #33 Posted March 25, 2004 I wish the SuperGrafx didn't look like an Amiga Joyboard, then I'd probably buy one, I had my Duo modded, so I can play all but 6 of the PCE/TG16/CD/SCD2 games. I can't see paying the money for another system just for those 6 games, and yes they are great ports, but it's just not happening. PCFX/Playdia/Towns Marty, all would be great if I understood the language. As it stands now, those are mostly text heavy games, not alot I can get out of them. So I see no point in owning. The Pippin seems pointless as well. There was a little bit of stuff released in the US but it's mostly import as well, and not alot worth owning IMHO. It's right up there with a Memorex VIS! MVS is currently hooked up in my room! Strikers 1945 & MPE currently in play! I would highly recommend a supergun & MVS setup out of the list here, but since I have that one I would pick X68000. Honestly I've never seen one besides for pics online, does it even have cart slots or is it only disk based software? The MSX has been on my want list for some time too, that did have carts, in addition to disk based stuff. I primarily collect carts, so I would prefer cart media. These both have similar type games thou, either would make my want list for system to take if someone wants to "give" me one! CD32/CDTV both seem pretty cool too, but not as much draw for me, I like the older stuff more. And Wonderswan that's just a handheld right? Make mine a Gamepark!
