I don't know whether it has been done not seen it if it has, but it would be good if Atariage did a poll for the ulitmate top ten games for 2600. Maybe even two polls for one player and one for two player games.

 

You see Pele Soccer would be up there for me, but I'm sure to a U.S. audience it's probably down there. Hmmm... I think I will get a black marker pen and change soccer to football on the cart.

 

It would be interesting to see if it's only me that thinks Pacman is dog poo, it was dog poo back in the day and is still dog poo now, with Asteroids being borderline, however Space Invaders my god that's good, it's so good it smells of freshly baked bread.

 

Anyone sick of seeing my posts on here yet, I'm bored at the moment, I think I've got typing turrets, does it show?

Huh? As far as sports titles go, Pele's definately ranks as a masterpiece. Compare that against Football or Basketball...games that are largely UNlike the sports they are based on.

I can't stop laughing since I read the thread title. I seriously expected some sort of sick polaroid shot. Anyone rememeber when there was an auction on eBay for a Pacman shaped fingernail clipping collection? HAHAH, sick sick sick.

I used to eat the Pac-Man and Donkey Kong breakfast cereals, but I never had such luck!

 

 

For those who do not remember the cereals...Pac-Man was like Lucky Charms and Donkey Kong was like Captain Crunch. They just had the shapes from the video games....barrels, ghosts, pac-man, etc.

When I was a kid I would buy ANYTHING with Pac-Man on it, including the (terrible) 2600 cart. Ms. Pac was much better, and largely mad up for how awful Pac-Man was.

This is funny... I just brought up (not upchucked, mind you...) Pac-Man cereal on another thread. Loved that cereal. I still pick up Lucky Charms every once in a while... but it's like 8 bucks practically!

 

I would love to see a pic of the fingernail drek that looks like Pac-Man. Anyone snag the picture?
