walter_J64bit
Jaguar interactive II is it ever going to be up and running?
Punisher5.0
I check to see if its back up a couple times a week hoping it would be up and running again. But of course it never is
+Saturn
What happened to Keita (sp)? He apparently just vanished. And for that matter, where's JustClaws? Haven't seen a post from him anywhere since December, IIRC. Maybe he could shed some light on the subject..
Gregory DG
I gave up on it and took it out of my bookmarks. It had turned in to not much more than an attack-troll-Thunderbird b*tch board.

Gunstar
hmm...maybe I'll start hanging out there again, once in a while, see how it goes...though quite frankly, I haven't missed it in the least these past few years since I found AA. Pocket
I've never participated at JI2 board, but read it since it's begining, it's cool to see it up and running again
Matthias
Hello, getting this Message when i try to read a message body (The main page with the message list is ok): The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request. The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log. 3 hours before it was ok. justclaws
Hello, I just found this fault too, so came looking to see if I was alone. Having checked the server logs, it seems that most of the time the server cannot run CGI scripts, due to some non-JI2 fault. Sometimes it works, but the server gets "permission denied" internally, and fails without even starting the script. There was no change to the code on the system, it's purely server side. :-@ I hate AtariHQ having USANetHosting.Com as their host... JustClaws. justclaws
The error has gone away, seems USANetHosting fixed their server issue. Hurrah! JustClaws.

Matthias
Hello Doc! I would LOVE to post there, but how do you register to get an account? Doctor Clu AFAIK you don't need to register to post on JaguarInteractiveII. If you give your email-address your name will be printed in bold, and there are profiles for regular JI2-users, but i think these are enabled manually by Justclaws at the moment. Htbaa
Can someone tell me why that board is so great? I don't want to piss off anybody but it just plain sucks. Topics aren't arranged (atleast they weren't, I don't know if much has changed in the past year) so it's hard to get an impression on which topics there actaully are. If the community is great then why put them up with some rubbish? Get them something more organized.
Paolo
Hi! I think that the not-arranged-topics was regarded as the good thing in that board. Just the massages flowing. The bad thing was when all the trolling was ON, and the useful messages were pushed down the list...

The bad thing was when all the trolling was ON, and the useful messages were pushed down the list... Aggreed. The main message list is just ordered by timestamp, but there are threads, and as soon as you click on a message you are able to follow the thread to which it belongs. JI2 just allows a fast browsing through all new messages :-) Regards Matthias
Htbaa
Maybe, but good topics are hard to find because the replys of other topics are everywhere. And you also don't see all posts that belong to a topic when viewing a message.
Tyrant
Imvho the JI2 would be best run as a proper NNTP newsgroup, which is what its emulating, but, with NNTP, the protocol is far better suited, and the myriad clients are far more efficient at displaying the posts than any web based system could ever hope to be. I like multithreaded boards, they're neat and flexible, but they can only be done in a usable way via NNTP, and that has sadly become quite unpopular it seems .
