rogueleader #1 Posted March 27, 2004 I bought the vectrex in the auction at Philly Classic. It came with an awesome multi-cart. Only problem is it is not in a case. I am worried that it might break. I asked the guy their that was selling vectrex homebrews and he gave me a name. But I promptly forgot it! So how about it? Anyone know where I can get an empty cart case? Albert #2 Posted March 27, 2004 I don't know how many people were selling Vectrex systems and carts, but I do know that Sunmark was. Mark DiLuciano was there, next to the AtariAge booth--is that who you spoke to? He can probably help you out with a cartridge for your bare multicart. I believe he's out of town right now, should be back in a week or so. ..Al
Xot #3 Posted March 27, 2004 Naw, this one was auctioned off. The seller was Kirk Isreal, IIRC, and the multi-cart in question is much too large to fit in one of those cases. But you never know, Mark may have some solutions for you. That Veccy was a steal, by the way.

I was going to e-mail Kirk and ask him but perhaps someone here knows
Rob Mitchell #5 Posted March 27, 2004 Cool! I thought it might not fit. Is the Multi-cart a homebrew? Several have come up with their own Vectrex Multicarts .. the most famous one is the Sean Kelly Multicart that comes in a reproduction Vectrex cart casing. You can order a Vectrex cart casing from Mark Shaker. But who knows if your multicart PCB will fit inside. www.vectrexcarts.com Congratulations on owning a cool console! Ze_ro #6 Posted March 27, 2004 Isn't Sean Kelly pretty much the main source for new cartridge casings? Anyways, you could always pick up a copy of Hyper Chase and cannibalize the cartridge. Hyper Chase sucks. --Zero
christianscott27 #7 Posted March 28, 2004 i remember seeing kirk with that multicart at one of our trademeets, it was really different looking. vec homebrewers have used INTV cart shells, i guess because they fit the board size nicely. maybe you could try something in that area, perhaps using an extra large INTV cart like the parker bros or coleco ones.
