The mancavearcade came with a manual, so thats probably it.

The cart label looks matte and the end label looks applied over another label.

As well as there seems to be label bits under the main one as frankodragon mentioned.

Its all fake. He relisted it too.

Looks like he took it down now probably after reading this thread. Happyseller has six loose ones he’s trying to sell with one not very good picture hmm? Who has 6 loose chase the chuck wagon?

I guess Happiest does lol.

I've noticed that people sometimes go in and buy tons of stuff driving prices up only to sell a bunch of them later. 07pwd did a lot of this back in the mid 2000s. I'm guessing that they're trying to keep minimum value (price) on things they've purchased in the past but I'm not sure.

If there legit I don’t care if he tries to sell them for $1000 a piece or $15000 for a cib one that’s the free market . He really needs better pictures and should list them individually with multiple pics.

Happiestseller targets certain more rare titles that dont come up often. He buys every one that comes up even if they are on the higher side. Then he relists them all about double their top to create an artificial market he controls.

That annoys the hell out of me.

Robotkingnes/magnavoxodysseyspecialist used to do this with nes robs and then original odysseys. Well he is dead now and his hoard got sold off cheap by his kids. But he screwed up those markets for a good number of years.

The box is fake, insert is fake, cartridge label looks fake, manual could be real? Do you still have pics of what you sold this guy? I doubt that’s the cartridge you sold him. He belongs on the bad trader list for saying it’s real and buying it back in the 80’s. He has 100% feedback so I don’t know why he’s gone rogue maybe he needs money because of COVID?

No I don't.  He may have sold the cart/manual separately.  He knows what it is.  If he was a long term collector, he would know that the original box looks nothing like that.

This was the original pic the guy selling the Chuckwagon game.

So let's brighten up the picture and see what we get.

You can see the "Spectravision" on the cart a little better but the label doesn't have that shiny grey.  It looks almost more white color.

And now it’s back for $500 admitting a repro box and manual but insists the cart is real.

Apparently history has been altered and in this new timeline that box is now fake :rolling:

I sent him the following question...

Hi, is this an authentic box and cart or are they reproductions? They don't appear to have the shiny metallic look that others I've seen have. Thanks!

and received this answer...
I have been on E-Bay way too long with a PERFECT record to have my credibility brought into question by someone like you. FACTS are FACTS. Goodbye.

Wow. It appears that someone like him owes someone like me an apology. Looks like FACTS aren't always FACTS.

BTW: I know you read this Paul, I seriously want the apology.

That definitely sounds like the type of person who's telling the truth...

So I had a friend in Chicago buy the first on they had it was 12 MMs and 2 Combats.

He got them and said they were pristine - NOS.

So they put up a second one a few days later, same thing 12MM and 2 Combats. These are in my city so I bought one planning to upgrade my MM for my CIB Joyboard.

Then I noticed a day after I bought mine a 3rd set was posted so curiosity killed the cat so I sent a message asking the seller what the story was behind all of these.

He said that he bought them from another local seller that got them from a storage unit buy. Crazy. He said "I have quite a few more." Whatever that means.

Not surprised that he has a bunch of them since he's selling them 12 at a time. Interesting that he's pairing them with a pair of Combats. Actually the most recent auction added a 3rd Combat and increased the price to $40.

My friend in Chicago was supposed to only have 2 Combats but he said there were 3 in the box.

Curious to see what I get. It’s scheduled to deliver tomorrow.

What did you get?  I notice another set posted.  Mogul Maniac is not as rare as some think, I guess.

He's relisted it again, claiming the cart is real. What a scumbag. He knows damn well it's fake.

I received 11 Moguls and two Combats.

I thought that I had been shorted a Mogul because in my mind I thought the listing was for 12 MM and 2 Combats. But as I looked at the listing again and realized it was 10 MM and 2 Combats. I sent the seller a message telling them about the error. They said it wasn’t an error it was intentional.

So I was curious about how this seller had so many MM carts. They said they bought them from someone who had got them from a storage unit buy. They keep selling them in lots of 10.

It's not even a good reproduction. At least he is now saying that the box and manual are fake. Everyone should send him a message to let him know the cart is fake also. He's clearly a novice regarding Atari and may appreciate our help.
