Yeah, it was a bit of a nice score, that. And it's Rudi's auction, so at least I know it's a good seller. ;-)

The sad part is I didn't drive up either of the Room of Doom's that recently closed, but you'll see I had a bid on at least one. :P

Thanks Mindfield for your compliment about my selling pratice! Did we have trades before?

Regards from Germany

Not so far (mainly because I'm not always sure if what you're selling is PAL or NTSC - but I know CommaVid titles are all NTSC), but you have a good rep around here, and since I can trust the folk around here, I know I can trust you as a seller. :-)

I am glad to hear, that I got I good rep out there. :) :) The PAL and NTSC thing is very difficult for me in Germany. As you know, Germany ATARIS can run both formats, even when you possess an multiformat TV like I do. Also for me it is not important which kind of format the game is. I only want to possess the game. In the most cases there is no indication on the card (the only I knew i the "P" by ATARI ond the "P" by BOMB) about the format, so I dont specify the format in my auction describtions. But if all COMMAVIDS are NTSC, everything should be fine. The card is well packed already :D

It's not unusual for overseas folk to neglect to mention the format -- it's all the same to you guys, and you really don't even think about it, just like I usually don't think to mention that the carts I auction off are NTSC -- it's sort of assumed based on my location unless otherwise specified. I just try to be careful when picking auctions from overseas -- it's sometimes impossible to tell, so when in doubt I assume PAL.

I DID notice by accident though that there's a label difference between PAL and NTSC Atari carts, at least with the black picture labels. I can't be sure, but I think the main difference is that the PAL carts have a small black Fuji on the bottom left of the picture, while the NTSC carts have a larger white Fuji in the same spot.

@Mindfiled. I am very glad, that you received my oversea sending so fast. Within 4 Days! WOW. And I filled out the customs declaration in the right way. I had the same problem with custom like you, the seller declared the total amount * 5, so I had to pay extra charges of 25 EUR

Have fun with your copy of Room of Doom. Hope to do business again

Yeah, I was amazed it got here so fast, too. It's kind of ironic that I can recieve a package from Germany in half the time it takes me to get a package from the US. :-)

25 euros? OUCH! I'd be contacting the seller if I had to pay something like that in duty. (Well, I tend to contact the seller anyway, but 25 euros isn't small change)

But yes, we may indeed be doing business again. I like to stick with sellers I trust who have reasonable prices and good shipping policies. :)
