Just for future reference, this is a H6er...

Note the rounded front, which is the most noticable difference:

Yup,I know,I sold one a couple days ago to stingray. But was doubtful on this one with the heavy "rf" shielding on the inside, back side controller mounts, and made in Sunnyvale instead of Taiwan or Hong Kong. :)

Nah...the existing components were used up during the transition of models. So some consoles exist that use the heavier plating inside, even tho they aren't one of the first. Dunno if that applies to s/n labels as well.

The whole Sunnyvale thing is a bunch of bullshit. Nobody is ever willing to admit it though. :ponder:

Hmm...I've never seen the text on the back of the system before (Right Controller/Power Adaptor/Left controller). Is this found on all Sunnyvale sixers? Just asking because I own one and mine doesn't have the text on the back.

I'm not arguing with you at all on this, I was just wondering if you'd care to elaborate for the benefit of those of us who are new to IDing the various 2600 models. I'm not new to Atari by any means, but I am new to the whole idea of determining a specific console's vintage and location of manufacture.
