chairmonkey4406 #1 Posted April 6, 2004 I was cleaning out a closet today and I found something that might be of interest to you folks. They are Sega Gamegear shaped plastic cases that used to have bubblegum in them. Inside there are some game cards. They include Sonic Spinball, Sonic Triple Trouble, and Dr. Mario. Also, I found a card that had the same logo on it as the Seega Saturn game "Skelleton Warriors" It seems to be some kind of instructions for a pog game but it definately has the same Skeleton Warriors logo on it as it does on the CD for the game. Anybody know anything about theses? Thanks a lot for any info.

chairmonkey4406 #9 Posted April 7, 2004 There's a bunch of cards too with Sonic Triple Trouble, Sonic Spinball, and Dr Mario. They are pretty neat. Great addition to a game collection. I wonder how much they are worth?
sigma #10 Posted April 7, 2004 These were made by Amurol. They were packs of gum and each had a couple of game-tip cards in each, and the cases were molded to look like either a Gameboy or a Game Gear, and the cards corresponded to which one you got. I'm not sure if they would be worth a whole lot because everyone and their dog had a complete set where I was (of course, that's not a guarantee that they kept them )
Jasoco #11 Posted April 8, 2004 I hazily remember those from looong ago. Seems like forever. Only like 11-12 years. Still, I remember seeing those. Heh... I didn't know they made seasonal versions of Bubble Tape... go figure. You learn a lot on the interweb.
vb_master #12 Posted April 8, 2004 How did this happen, or did sigma change his avatar?
Jasoco #13 Posted April 8, 2004 How did this happen, or did sigma change his avatar?I've seen that happen once before. But not this time. It's a very rare phpBB Bug. Usually it goes away after a refresh... ... ...Did it?
vb_master #14 Posted April 8, 2004 Again, that's really weird, chairmonkey, edit your post.
Jasoco #15 Posted April 8, 2004 Did you try a Cache Refresh? It's NOT Chairmonkey's fault. Hold SHIFT while clicking Refresh/Reload. Or is it Control or Alt? I think Shift. If it keeps happening, throw the computer out the window, go buy a new one and see if it keeps happening. Because only you are seeing it. I am 95% certain Cache Refresh will work. Edit: Also, what browser is this?
Kialan #16 Posted April 8, 2004 I've seen those game gears/game boys before. Give me the gum FOR I MUST CHEW! Even if it is stale
vb_master #17 Posted April 8, 2004 Edit: Also, what browser is this?IE
Jasoco #18 Posted April 8, 2004 Edit: Also, what browser is this?IE I recall I had the same thing happen back when I used IE. And that was on the Mac version. So it's cross-platform. Is it still happening even after a Cache Refresh? I don't know what else to say to help if it is. Except to switch to a better browser. (I can tell ya one thing, it has to do with the attachment and IE's cache. But that's as much as I can help.)
vb_master #19 Posted April 8, 2004 I remember when I had Mozilla, Netscape, and IE installed, IE craped out, Netscape was killing itself, and Mozilla, well, lets just say it would bring up the Mozilla splash, then freeze, hogging all my CPU. I don't want somthing to happen like that if I install FireFox.
