I bought an "ultra ultra ultra rare!!! Once in a lifetime opportunity!!!! Look at this!!! Genuine collectors only!!!" hot deal the other day.

 

It was Phoenix.

 

It cost me £2 shipped.

 

I feel so proud to have won such an ultra rare, hard to find, I'd-never-ever-see-one-in-the-wild-ever-ever-again cart at such a low low price.

Going by the current economic climate with the US dollar being so weak and the UK pound so strong our PAL Phoenix carts selling at a £1 a piece in the UK work out at... tap tap... hang on just using my abacus... click... click... at roughly $117.34 a piece. Wow! PAL Phoenix is so expensive, therefore it must be very rare.

 

There we go a little maths and knowledge of the global exchange rate mechanism incorporating domestic economic trends we can prove the cost and reflective rarity value of a 20 year old game... I think.

That's answered by query for the day! I got a load of carts today, and wondered why they had the letter 'P' on in various guises, be it a small additioanl sticker, or part of the original label artwork.
