chairmonkey4406 #1 Posted April 7, 2004 I was thinking and I can't think of any systems that haven't had some sort of Pac Man franchise game! Tell me if I am wrong but here is my list: Atari 2600: Pac Man, Ms. Pac Man, Pac Man Jr. Atari 5200: Pac Man, Ms. Pac Man, Super Pac Man Atari 7800: Ms. Pac Man Atari Lynx: Ms. Pac Man, PacLand Intellvision: Pac Man Colecovision: Is there a pacman for colecovision? NES: Pac Man Gameboy: Pac Man Super NES: Ms. Pac Man Sega Genesis: Pacmania, maybe others N64: Namco Museum (has pacman) Sega Saturn:uh I dont know Ps1: Pac Man World Ps2: Pac Man World 2 Sega Dreamcast: Ms. Pac Man's Maze Madness Gamecube: Pac Man World, Pac Man Vs. sku_u #2 Posted April 7, 2004 Some of the more obscure systems don't have a Pacman game, like Adventurevision and Microvision. I don't think there's a Pacman or Pacman-like game for the Vectrex or Jaguar out of the mainstream systems.
SteveW #3 Posted April 7, 2004 Ms. Pac-Man's Maze Madness on the Dreamcast. And PacLand on the TurboGraphx-16/PC Engine.
ubersaurus #4 Posted April 7, 2004 there's a homebrew pac-man and a proto pac-man on the colecovision. That neo geo one is a homebrew that I don't think ever got finished.
Dones #5 Posted April 7, 2004 Didn't Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness came with Ms. Pac-Man arcade?
Nukey Shay #6 Posted April 7, 2004 O2, Fairchild, EmersonArcadia2001, Bally/Astrocade, TI99/4A, Timex/Sinclair... I don't think that any of those had a Pacman game (tho some had similar ones).

holygrailvideogames.com #8 Posted April 7, 2004 O2, Fairchild, EmersonArcadia2001, Bally/Astrocade, TI99/4A, Timex/Sinclair...I don't think that any of those had a Pacman game (tho some had similar ones). The Astrocade has Muncher which is Pacman. There is a version of Muncher that was released under the Pacman name.
SteveW #9 Posted April 7, 2004 Atarisoft did make Pac-Man for the TI Home Computer. I always liked Munch Man better. There's a homebrew Pac-Man on Nuon DVD players.
CPUWIZ #10 Posted April 7, 2004 Atarisoft did make Pac-Man for the TI Home Computer. That is what I thought. @Nukey:

I don't think there's a Pacman or Pacman-like game for the Vectrex or Jaguar out of the mainstream systems. Vectrex Pac-man = Clean Sweep
Nukey Shay #16 Posted April 7, 2004 Is it a licensed version of Pacman? I dunno if he was referring to just clones of the game
Fellow Atari Man #17 Posted April 7, 2004 Is it a licensed version of Pacman? Hell no! Just a clone, although the idea of bank robbers blowing up a vault and the money's scattered everywhere was a pretty original idea.

O2--KC Munchkin (close enough that Atari sued Arcadia 2001--Cat Trax (okay, not so close)
+Trebor #19 Posted April 7, 2004 Is it a licensed version of Pacman? I dunno if he was referring to just clones of the game He did say Pac-man or Pac-man like. I believe Clean Sweep would be classified as Pac-man like.
Cootster #20 Posted April 7, 2004 Is it a licensed version of Pacman? Hell no! Just a clone, although the idea of bank robbers blowing up a vault and the money's scattered everywhere was a pretty original idea. Not to mention that it's the only video game ever sponsored by a chain of liquor stores. Did Mr. Boston's sell the Vectrex or something? Was there a reason behind this illogical marketing scheme. Why plug a game that has nothing to do with your product on an uncommon system? I would've called up Sega and gotten my logo on Tapper.
Tempest #21 Posted April 7, 2004 EmersonArcadia2001 The Arcadia did have Gobbler and Super Gobbler. Both were very unlicensed Pac-Man clones. Although neither game was released in the US. Tempest
Christophero Sly #22 Posted April 7, 2004 Atarisoft did make Pac-Man for the TI Home Computer. Atarisoft also released Ms. Pac-Man for the TI-99/4A. Atarisoft also released both titles for the Apple II.
liveinabin #23 Posted April 7, 2004 I think all of the later 8 bit micros (including the Spectrum, Amstrad, C64) had at least official conversions of Pacmania and Pacland. This also goes for the 16 bits (ST and Amiga). Don't know about the VIC-20 though, or the Tandy CoCo/Dragon 32, or the Oric 1/ Oric Atmos. Damn, there were too many computers! I'm sitting here wondering if there were Pacman games on the Jupiter Ace or Forth NewBrain - see how you've made me sick in my mind?!? As far as unofficial clones go, EVERY system had a PacMan - they'd be fools not to!
Tempest #24 Posted April 7, 2004 Don't know about the VIC-20 though Vic-20 had Ms. Pac-Man, but I'm not sure about regular old Pac-Man. Tempest
GrizzLee #25 Posted April 7, 2004 The Atari Jaguar didn't have any gobble games
