Ikari Warriors...pretty sweet.

Almost-OT-Plug: The Stelladaptor has finally given me what I hoped the Cuttle Cart II might (and which the original CC has): the ability to be playing a game 30 seconds after I read about it, and with the right joystick. A belated thanks to AA and Pixels Past. I don't buy a ton of VG stuff and this is worth every penny.

 

That being said, I finally gave Ikari Warriors a shot today. Sweet! Nice scrolling, a fair amount of animation and variety, the ability to ride in a tank at times. I'm not very good at it yet, but are there levels within the game, and what other 2600 titles offer a fairly sophisticated attempt at multi-mode arcade gaming?

 

God that sounded more heady that what I was shooting for
