Joel D. Park
Sounds like Airworld may allready be in the works. And Snider-man has allready got Venture 2 going. I'd like to see: Donkey Kong 3 (Since this game allready exists for other systems). Yars Revenge 2, that is playable on the real Atari. Adventure 2 (PLEASE!!!) san-d-2000
Super Pac-man sounds sweet, but I also wouldn´t mind Demon Attack part two or what about Moon Cresta for the 2600
utamav91
I'd love to see 1. Midnight Magic Two 2. Haunted House Two (redesign the sprites/characters up, change the rooms a little) 3. Another hockey game (if they can do it with Double Dunk, why not take Activision's classic hockey, make the players smaller, flicker a little if need be, speed the game up a bit) 4. Vanguard
Malix
Every activision title ever released. jk. Pitfall 3 Super Speed Pacman Keystone Kapers the return
Joel D. Park
Wow, great ideas. About Pitfall 3, I once found a (Perhaps just a Graphic Hack) for the Commodore 64 called Pitfall 3. It looked alot like Pitfall 1, but instead of trees the backgrounds in was more like Roman Pillars and other Ruins. With different monsters. Skatepunk60
super pac man adventure 2 keystone kapers 2 those would be the top for me (among many others)
utamav91
Come to think of it, some of the parts of the games from "The Price Is Right" TV show could work well on Atari 2600. The opening screen (or first level) would be an excited contestant running past other contestants, cameras, production assistants, etc. to the bottom of the screen or "stage"--sorta like the Journey game. The big wheel could be done, and maybe that game where you drop the poker chip down the board with the big rods on it or maybe that game where you have to putt for prizes would work too. Or that rangefinder game with the submarine-sound in it where the red range moves up the scale. What do you think?
J2383
Adventure (One more vote for it) Galaga Pitfall The never ending story and uh Vangaurd
liquid_sky
lol, TPIR on 2600, I would have to buy that. There was a version for the Commadore64, and it wasent that bad of a port.. I would like to see: Adventure 2 Chopper Command 2 and I think that Crystal Castles deserves a sequel
Nostalgic
My choices... - Adventure 2 (I spent many, many hours playing Indenture) - it could be huge in a 16k cart! - Pac-Man Plus - Donkey Kong 3 And as for a non-sequel game but something that would be nice... - I, Robot (really! there couldn't be perspective changes, but the platform game could survive intact)
Ze_ro
Surprise! There was a company working on The Price is Right for the 2600! They were called The Great Game Company, and they were working on various 2600 games based on game shows (for example, Jeopardy and Family Feud). I haven't a clue how they expected to make Jeopardy work on the 2600... but apparently neither did they, because they went tits up before releasing anything. --Zero
Tikiphantom
I would love ta see: 1.Super Pac-man 2.Spy-Hunter 2 3.Galaga 4.Adventure 2 (second vote for that) 5.and Haunted House 2.

King Asmo
I'd like to see Arkanoid-esque remakes of Super Breakout and Warlords.. those would be pretty cool. I'm really looking forward to Venture 2. I take it there won't be a Colecovision version of that coming out. I'd really, really like to see a LadyBug 2 for the Colecovision.
+Random Terrain
1. Adventure 2 2. Marauder 2 3. Subterranea 2 4. Laser Gates 2 5. Midnight Magic
Parcel
The Phantom Menace, granted thats not so much a sequel, but I would like to see what could be done with it.
Snider-man
Well, I wanted "Venture II," so I went and made one. Add yet another vote for Adventure 2. Someone really should cobble this together. As I recall, we discussed this proposed game on this board (graphic elements and gameplay we'd like to see). Alex or Albert, is that thread available somewhere? Anyone want to make a stab at it? I offer my help on such an endevour. I'd also like to see: * Haunted House 2 (bigger mansion, more items, more atmos-FEAR) * Super Pac-man (Another vote for this favorite) * DragonStomper II (I love this game and a sequel would rock) * Miner 2049er III (Played the heck out of the first two growing up) * Pitfall III (Notice how the great games already had a sequel?) Great topic for a thread! "Your Friendly Neighborhood Snider-man!"
Joel D. Park
Hey! Wasn't there a listing of the code for Adventure somewhere on the internet that had comments for everything??? There was a time when I could decompile and recompile some Atari games with DASM. I'd love to check out Adventure some time and see if there was anything I could do with it. Thanks, Joel D. jahfish
i'd love some crossover stuff like ... 3D PIT PAC TOE like modern flippers have a second level to play or a build in video game, you'll have to play a round of pac man to get out when you fall in a trap while the pifall game. +Cafeman
Actually, I was thinking about doing an Adventure sequel on the 5200. Interest seems high in it. Just don't expect it anytime soon! I'd love to see ASM code examples using DASM for 5200 bin files -- can this be done?
Malix
Well the votes are in so far and here are the top Three most wanted Homebrews. Mountain King
Games I'd like to see made: 1.Solaris 2 2.Another Indiana Jones Game 3.Skateboadin 4.Artillery Dual (maybe like Scrorched Earth) 5. And I'll bite; Adventure
Jack-Ass Tramiel
Another vote for a Pitfall III, done in such a way where it picks up from the style of Pitfall II and does something even more sophisticated (if one can imagine that). I'd like a sequel to H.E.R.O. as well. J-AT
Joel D. Park
Yes! A Sequel to H.E.R.O. I should have thought of that. Oh! And how about a reversed version of Kaboom!. Maybe you could play the crook and you have to dodge the bombs the cops are trying to drop on you... Instead of the other way around.
