thx1138
Very pleased with this, particulalry as I rarely get Saturdays free from work. Went to my local boot sale, it's always small but friendly and usually cheap. Anyway, today I got for £15 an Atari 2600 jnr, assorted Quickshot sticks and a 2 universal adators and a total of 31 loose carts. I'll list all the one's I can rememebr; Yars Revenge Crystal Castles Haunted House Return of the Jedi Death Star Battle Combat Battlezone Riddle of the Sphinx Berserk Q-Bert Mario Bros Defender Pac Man Cosmic Ark Smurfs Jnr Pac Man Pole Position Air Sea Battle Asteroids Casino Pitfall Hero Desert Falcon E.T Centipede Millipede Dark Chambers and a few more. Atari-dj
Fantastic find --- I haven't found anything in the UK for over a year now anywhere, except for that "Indy 500 manual and Pengo cart" which i found under a floor board of a house. Maybe your part of the UK has all the games Where abouts are you in the UK?
thx1138
I live in Bedford. Especially nice find for me, as I am an Atari "newbie" and only just got a woodie last month, and so for me there were only a few duplicates, the rest go straight into my collection. thx1138
Do you ever go to any real world auctions? I get stuff from them quite a bit too. In the last year I've bought quite a few classic and vintage computers etc, it's where I got my woodgrain from. In reality, about one week in six there is some retro stuff - I was once a porter at the auction house, and got a commodore pet for a couple of quid, and sold it for more than my wages. I've been checking the auction out every week since.
