this auction had a $50 BIN...now it's over $70

Recommended Posts

Happens every time someone kills the bin minutes after an auction starts. What's sad is usually the bin killer makes the minimum bid, ruins it for everyone else, then never bids again. :x

Ahhh ebay. Gotta love it!

As a seller, though, you can't complain. You offer the BIN so the item might sell quickly. If it doesn't, then you make even more for the wait. :)

What I actually do is set a reserve of exactly HALF of the BIN. So, if the

BIN is $50, I make the reserve $25. Then I start the bidding at $1.

I also mention in the auction that the BIN is $25. Until the reserve is met,

the BIN stays....

STUN SHOCK AND DISBELIEF. The bin killer bid $10.48 and not another penny. Did this twit really think it was gonna end for $10.48 ?!?!?!?!

Personally I wouldn't have paid more than $40 tops. Nothing ultra rare in that lot.
