HSC Round 2

Recommended Posts

BTW,

My initial reaction to Blaster was a neat game but not overly difficult?  I want to play games that dont take 30min+ to achieve a top 3 score :)

I generally go for games that take five to ten minutes top to play.

Trying to get in a few practice rounds before the contest officially begins. I’ve only begun to fight!

I just found out there is a 250 life version of Gorf out there. I just played it and there is a way to tell on the game screren. It says "Lots of Ships" in the corner. But I don't know if you use up all 250 guys it will go to the final "high score" screen with no indication of it being a cheat version. (not that I am implying anyone is going to cheat, but it is good to know that that version is out there so we may be able to tell if people are using it)

Thanks for the heads up - with how fast the 'Tie Fighters' get it hard to rack up a big score on this game.

Being 'for fun' lets hope the cheating stays away :)

Under Gems I vote for Mr. Do and my best friend Chris Votes for Necromancer

Under Common Classics I vote for Gorf and Chris votes for Pacman

I really loved Starfire In the Arcade

There was video game that I used to play in the arcarde and I can only remember this much of it, after you cleared the screen or level or stage the game said lucky, lucky, lucky, for every bonus or extra point you got.

I asked my buddy chris and he remembers the game but not the name of the game.

Hehe... I was thinking of sneaking in a few practice rounds myself.

I got my GP32 all charged up and ready to go, but I noticed when playing berzerk the emulation was a little slow and jerky.

I hope gorf isn't the same way.

Plus for some reason it's hard to push it diagonal and get it to respond (something I forget about).

But it still may make do for some practice rounds.
