Well, a PSP if a Ridge Racer appears on it.

 

As for home consoles, difficult. I've been a little dissapointed with the current lot. The Xbox, though a mighty machine with great online capability, hasn't had any games that really appealed to me yet, the GC's delights were sadly too few and the PS2 was so hateful a machine that I sold it not long after buying (last year) and I've not done that before. I think gaming generally is going in directions that I don't really want a part of.

 

I loved the days when arcades led and consoles followed. I WANT to be dazzled for 5 minutes at a time. I love 'arcade handling'. I really harbor no desire to be a hitman, soldier or serial killer - digital or otherwise.

I just want fun, dammit. Where's the fun? Burnout 2 is about the only game that I haven't thought about selling lately. That sucks.

X-Box when their 99 or less

A PS2 when they redesign them without the grill

a 2600 when I find one in the wild

And I really want an ApeXtreme when they come out

Oh, yeah. Also, when the Cube hits $50, (After the N5's release most likely) I'll get a second just for fun. Maybe I'll import a leftover special Japanese color. I dunno. I wonder if Panasonic Q's will ever come down really low. Probably not, but I can dream.

When they're done. Too soon. Supposedly next year. Way too soon. But I do look forward to the pictures of the designs. I am a curious little bee. Anyone know if the next systems will be shown at E3 this year? Or do we get to wait until next year's E3? At least I got the DS and PSP designs to look forward to next month.

I remember like two years before xbox came out I was following everything on it. I read all the articles and watches all the videos of the first premeirs. On the day it came out I waited on line all night outside walmart. I cant wait for the next playstation cause I have a feeling the premiere game will be gta.

Well, the next systems I planed on buying were the VIC 20 and the astrocade... I can't stand polls/questions about stuff that isn't releaed yet. What a bore!

At this current time I do not plan on getting any Next Gen systems. I think all the games are falling into the same categories that the arcades eventully ended up in, fighting, driving, first person shooter.. I also think the the creativity of alot of the developers has stagnated.

 

In my opinion we need another video game crash to clean house..

 

As far as older systems, YES I need a Vectrex and a Master System..

 

But what I really want is all the new carts here at atariage!
