chairmonkey4406 #1 Posted April 19, 2004 I was wondering if there are any colecovision and maybe intellivision emulators out there? I have never seen any or any ROMS for either of them. Thanks for any feedback.
jetset #2 Posted April 19, 2004 MESS works great for Colecovision. I'm not sure where you can (easily) find roms anymore. Most sites kill you with pop up ads and/or force you to vote for their site, which makes it take forever to actuaally download the game(s). But MESS is definetly the best I've used to play Colecovision.
SS #3 Posted April 19, 2004 But MESS is definetly the best I've used to play Colecovision. I'd recommend MEKA as well. Trouble is that some Colecovision bugs worked their way in after v0.60 (most notably "Pitfall 2") and they haven't been fixed yet. V0.60 is pretty spot on for Colecovision emulaton, though. V0.68 is the most recent build. MEKA 0.60 (DOS) MEKA 0.68b (DOS) MEKA 0.68b (Windows) Mekanix 0.65 (the most current Linux version)
Zaxxon #4 Posted April 19, 2004 I like MEKA for CV emulation. Colem and CULT and their ports are garbage. BLISS is good for INTV emu.

Gregory DG #6 Posted April 19, 2004 The best CV emulator for Win32 is Virtual Colecovision. http://www.classicgaming.com/vcoleco/
Ze_ro #7 Posted April 19, 2004 [D]Colem on the Dreamcast does all my ColecoVision emulation. It's not the best, but it usually gets the job done. Bliss is the best INTV emulator I've found. --Zero
