Monitor cables?

Where can I find them? And can the same cable be used with an 800XL and a 1040STf?

Monitor cables appear on eBay quite often.

 

The 800XL can use a C64 monitor cable, too. There have been a few threads about this here. Maybe try searching the forums?

 

I remember a guy posting here not long ago saying that he was selling them on eBay, but there are several sellers who do them.

8bit and ST has different video connector, so it is not possible to use the same cable.

 

Both machines can supply you with composite video, but only ST has RGB output. With 8bit you can use S-video, which is better than composite.
